What is Auracle for X-Series?
Auracle for X-Series is the free control software that allows you to set up and configure your iConnectivity audio and MIDI Interfaces. In this new video series, we’ll be walking through all the features of Auracle for X-Series so you know exactly how to set up and configure your interface. In this video, we’ll give a general overview of Auracle for X-Series, so you know exactly where to go to configure your interface. Before we get started, make sure you’ve downloaded Auracle for X-Series and installed it on your computer.
Audio
If you’re using an iConnectivity audio interface, you can configure settings like buffer size, sample rate and adjust your audio routing. The specific settings shown will depend on what interface you have connected.

MIDI Routing
The MIDI Routings page allows you to route MIDI from Sources on your interface to Destinations on your interface. You can route Sources to multiple Destinations and can re-name your Sources and Destinations to easily make your routings.

Filter & Remap
You can use Filter & Remap settings to filter MIDI messages from the inputs and outputs of your interface and re-map MIDI messages to different MIDI channels.

Presets
Create, Load, Restore, and Backup presets for compatible iConnectivity Interfaces. Interfaces prior to the MioXM, and MIoXL (like PlayAudio12, MIDI 4+, etc.) don’t have this capability. You can create presets on your interface, load a new preset, and backup your presets to a file that you can later restore on your interface.

RTP/Network MIDI
For interfaces with Ethernet Ports, you can configure your IP Address, set it as static, and create and connect to RTP/Network MIDI Sessions.

USB Host Reservation
Make Host Port Reservations for USB devices connected to the USB Host port on your iConnectivity Interface. This ensures your MIDI routings stay consistent when using multiple devices.

Firmware
Update the Firmware of your interface. You can load a file stored on your harddrive, or download the latest firmware version directly from the internet.

Device Information
View details about your device and Factory Reset, Clear MIDI Settings, and Reboot your Device.

Software Information
To check which version of Auracle for X-Series you’re currently using, click the “i” icon in the upper right-hand corner of Auracle for X-Series. This is helpful when communicating with iConnectivity Support.

Checking for Available Updates
Need to update to the most recent version of Auracle for X-Series? Navigate to the Auracle for X-Series menu and choose the Check for Updates option.
